Or maybe we’re just cells that make up the body of the earth, and collectively we are part of another larger consciousness? Maybe our thoughts, put together, are just part of a larger mind that is in constant opposition with itself, kind of like we are? Could this be likely?
Or maybe we are part of just ONE consciousness that becomes complex, breaking down into single units the deeper it becomes? Energy is constantly changing forms, so maybe ultimately, energy is consciousness. We tend to think of consciousness from a human perspective, how do we know that the universe itself is not aware of itself?

Universe contains everything and there is only one universe. There are a lot of things that we don’t know about the universe. So you could be right. We just don’t know.
Of course it could be true, what do we have that proves that it’s not true?
but other then a simple theory what do we have that proves it is true. Basically it’s a cool thought, but will this change anything about you? Will this change anything about anyone else? why would it? Who knows what’s going on maybe earth is just an intergalactic reality show, where the aliens love to watch us bicker and fight over bs. can you disprove that?
